Miel Donates 12,000+ Pairs of Underwear to Dignity U Wear

“We are most appreciative of Miel’s support and compassion for these ladies in need, helping them to feel confident and beautiful again…as all women are deserving of pretty underthings!” – Karin Bunnell, Dignity U Wear.

Miel pays it forward.

Taking part in Dignity U Wear’s 2017 “Drop Your Drawers” campaign, Miel recently donated 12,000+ pairs of their best-selling underwear to those in need.

The annual underwear collection donates both underthings and socks to families in crisis, the homeless, veterans and further individuals in need across the United States.

Founded in 2000 by philanthropist, Korean War veteran and Holocaust survivor Henri Landwirth, Dignity U Wear is committed to helping those in need through the gift of new clothing donated by leading manufacturers, both large and small.

All items are thoughtfully sorted and boxed by style, size and gender before being sent to hundreds of shelters, social service agencies, community groups, school districts and more across the nation. Together with apparel donors, volunteers and financial supporters, Dignity U Wear provides self-confidence and dignity to those in need so that they can feel cared about and connected.

The donation sent by Miel is currently en route to the Charlotte, North Carolina area, where at least three agencies dedicated to assisting women in need will be able to utilize and distribute the product. Says Karin Bunnell, Director of Procurement at Dignity U Wear:

“We are most appreciative of Miel’s support and compassion for these ladies in need, helping them to feel confident and beautiful again…as all women are deserving of pretty underthings!”
